Can an economically sinking country be entrusted into the leadership of people who qualified as party flag bearers through vote buying during primaries?

It is quite disheartening and also disappointing that in this time and age, people sell their conscience for generations unborn to suffer because of instant gain. I am disappointed with the delegates considering the present economic state of the country. We need capable hands now more than ever.
